However, Joe’s college experience was overshadowed by a painful health condition, the conflicting diagnoses of which shattered his world-view and ultimately led him to found Karuna, his health-tech startup. At just 24 years old, Joe exhibits extraordinary levels of insight, empathy, and social responsibility. He found the appearing on the podcast very integrative and therapeutic.
